These nodes run the ServAssure NXT Trap Receiver application that handles the filtering and forwarding of relevant trap messages from a CMTS to the ServAssure NXT Engine via HTTP post.
These nodes consist of the following elements:
Standard virtual machine
- 4 vCPU Cores
- 4 GB RAM
- One of the operating systems listed in: Operating system requirements
- Additional 40GB disk volume mounted as /opt/arris for CommScope-specific applications and logs
One (1) ServAssure NXT Trap Receiver can handle up to 5,000 trap messages per second with a maximum drop rate of 5%.
