The ingest power supply and power area information feature allows you to select in both Map and Logical views of the topology a power supply to highlight it, its associated power inserter if any, and all the active network elements—specifically FiberNodes, splitters, taps, and amplifiers—that are powered by that power supply.

In Map view, a power supply is often grouped with its power inserter, and also sometimes its FiberNode or amplifier. These groupings are denoted by a plus sign and a number, such as . Selecting the element associated with the +n denotation expands the group to show the individual elements.

When you mouse over a power supply, the description and anything else embedded in the description is displayed. Refer to ServAssure® NXT API Guide for topology file constraints for tooltip creation.

When you select a power supply in either the Map or Logical view, all associated network elements are highlighted.
