Change the Map View Background locally

To change the background map locally:

  1. In the View List, click a Networks icon so that the tabular presentation associated with Events and Alarms does not appear in the Active Window.
  2. Right-click in the Active Window to display the pop-up with map selections.
  3. Click Map Properties The Map Properties window is displayed:
  4. Click Browse to find the location of a background file (for example, worldmap.gif).

    If necessary, complete other selections on the Map Properties window as follows:

    1. Enable (checkmark) Anchored to hold in place icons on the Active Window.
    2. Enable (checkmark) for SDM placement of icons.Auto Placement
    3. Select an icon placement Topology: grid, star, ring, or flow for Auto Placement.
  5. Click OK.
