During the Alarm Soak Period, if data indicates that the alarm persists, the Alarm Soak Period continues for its configured time, and at the end of the soak period, the alarm moves to the Verified state.

When additional data indicates that the alarm has cleared, the alarm moves to the Pending Cleared state. If the Clear Soak Period is disabled, it moves directly to the Cleared state.

If the alarm moves from the Verified state to the Pending Cleared state, and during the Clear Soak Period additional data indicates that the alarm persists, it moves back to the Verified state.
