Thresholds are configured by your ServAssure NXT administrator. Each issue has defined thresholds for one or more RF Parameters. The picture below shows threshold settings for Downstream Receive (Rx) Power. If modems are functioning between -10 and 15 dBmV, they are in the green range. Between 15 and 20 or between -15 and -10, they are in the yellow range. Between 20 and 30 or between -30 and -15, they are in the orange range. Note that the top number in a range is included in the next highest range. In this picture, the first range begins at -30 and ends just below -15. The second range begins at -15 and ends just below -10.

Different frequencies or modulations can have different threshold definitions. For example, Upstream SNR might be set so that if the frequency is between 0 and 22, SNR from 0 up to 32 MHz is in the orange range, SNR from 32 up to 35 is in the yellow range, and SNR from 35 up to 50 MHz is in the green range. However, if the frequency is 22 or greater, SNR from 0 up to 25 MHz is in the orange range, SNR from 25 MHz up to 30 MHz is in the yellow range, and SNR from 30 up to 50 MHz is in the green range.
