Graph display options are specified on this tab:
  • Frequencies — These can be selected from the Filter drop-down.
  • Percentiles and averages — Historical channel percentiles and averages can be displayed for certain graphs (see View historical channel distribution).
  • Modulation changes — Upstream modulation changes can also be enabled and displayed on SC-QAM upstream graphs.
  • Selections based on change in value — Selections can be based on a change in value, which is the magnitude of the delta between the lowest and highest values over a period of time.
  • Select Frequencies — Select one or more frequencies to display on a graph.
  • Only Show Selected Frequencies — Filters frequencies and graphs. In the Channels tab, pre-selected MAC addresses are filtered and displayed in the table. On graphs, only the data related to the selected frequencies is displayed.
  • Options
    • Show Points — Show data points on the lines in the graphs.
    • Scale Y-Axis — Show the values of the selected RF Parameter to scale.
    • Show X-Axis — Show date and time.
    • Show Legend — Show a legend of background colors below each graph.
    • Large Graph — Show larger graphs.
    • Show Data Gaps — Show gaps in data rather than a solid line.
    • Smooth Distributions — Smooths out distribution lines in the graph.
  • Overlay
    • Upstream Modulations — Displays upstream modulation changes.
    • Channel Distributions — Turns distribution lines on or off on historical graphs. These distributions represent the 10th, 50th, and 90th percentiles or Average for selected frequencies. Choices are:
      • None — Displays nothing on a graph.
      • 50% — Displays the average on a graph.
      • 10/50/90% — Displays the 10th, 50th, and 90th percentiles on a graph for selected frequencies.
  • Selection Based on Change in Value — Sets a change in value, which is the magnitude of the difference between the lowest and highest values over the period of time displayed in the graph, regardless of when these high and low values occurred. A series is selected when the change in value is greater than the value entered in either the change field or selected with the slider.
NOTE: To select a time frame for a graph, select a date and time range on the Time panel. See Create graphs for information on how the Time panel works.
