Change the following options as required once tenants have been created:

  • Validate Topology: Used to validate topology, billing, and hierarchy files for ingest.
  • Actions: Removes the tenant.
  • Update Config: Updates the tenant configuration. Refer to Tenant configuration for configuration options and details.
  • SAA Information: Enables OnDemand scans with ServAssure Performance Management Web Service Connector.
  • Scan Details: Provides Proactive and Outage scan time for the provided fibernode and date.
  • FiberNode CleanUp: Deletes the provided fiber node’s search data, billing data, and cache data from nxt-eng.
  • Solr CleanUp: Deletes all search data (solr data) for the provided tenant.
  • Solr Ingest: Re-ingests all Solr data from the Cassandra database and is used to fix missing data in Solr without re-ingesting billing data.
  • Reinitialize Jobs: Each fiber node and hub have their jobs to process scan data. This will reinitialize FibernodeJob and HubJob in nxt-eng.
  • Ingest Mode: There are three types of ingest mode:
    • On — Allows all data ingest billing, hierarchy, and scan data.
    • Off — Does not allow any data ingest in nxt-eng.
    • Partial — Does not allow scan data ingest but allows billing and hierarchy data ingest.
  • Ingest Trace: If enabled, it will save the scan (Proactive and Outage) ingest file to the /opt/arris/nxt-eng/tmp folder on the nxt-eng server. If disabled, it will not do anything.
  • Spectrum Capability: Force a refresh of the ServAssure NXT CM Spectrum capability cache data on one or all fiber nodes of a tenant. Click Refresh to open the following:
Enter a specific fiber node name and click Submit to refresh the cache of that node, or click Cleanup All to refresh the caches on all fiber nodes for this tenant.
  • Export TBH: Click to force the publishing of the latest topology, billing, and hierarchy (TBH) files to Insight Platform. This enables synchronization with the Insight Platform DEVICE_TOPOLOGY table.

Billing ingest without Alarm Central

Billing Ingest is supported even if Alarm Central is unavailable. Without Alarm Central, billing ingest takes the format of an ingest that is already supported. In the absence of Alarm Central, you must ensure that your system can produce data that is compatible with the ServAssure NXT format. Specifically, complete address information is required, including region information.
