Capture controls for standard mode are dependent on the selected CMTS device. Some controls may not be configurable depending on CMTS vendor support.

NOTE: Some fields retain their values from previous captures.

Capture controls for standard mode can include:

Start and end frequencies

Start Frequency
Starting frequency of the capture.
End Frequency
Ending frequency of the capture.
NOTE: Start and end frequencies are not available for Casa CMTS devices.
Samples
This is the number of samples in the capture. Starting frequency and ending frequency, along with the number of samples determine the resolution per point.
NOTE:

Captures may have a variable resolution based on the sample count chosen (determined by the vendor device).

Domain
The value for Domain is set to Frequency, indicating that amplitude is measured versus frequency (MHz).

This mode supports Frequency Domain Analysis.

Capture Interval
The number of seconds between samples. Value range is 0-10 seconds.
Service Identifier
The Service Identifier menu lets you select either IdleFFT or Any options for the capture.
Options are:
IdleFFT
Idle Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) means that spectrum analysis is captured when no modem is transmitting and the channel is idle.
Any
Spectrum analysis that is captured in Freerun mode and can occur at any time without waiting for the appropriate IUC interval.
