The Description field only displays when Show Full Information is enabled.The Description field often provides identifying information about a topology element, which assists technicians in the field. You can cross-correlate this data with external systems (applications outside the ServAssure NXT family), and because the pop-up sticks, it is simple to copy out information to other systems (such as a ticketing application). This pop-up remains active until Click to dismiss is pressed.
To display this information:
- Click a piece of topology (hover does not work when Show Full Information is enabled). The example below shows information on a fiber node.
A pop up appears with the Description field displayed.
