Element selection tool (polygon)

The element selection tool can draw shapes around elements of the topology. This creates a selection of modems and other elements that displays as a special selection in other views (Cable Modems, for example).
To select a group of elements
  • From Map View or Logical View, enable the element selection tool by clicking the draw, or pencil, icon:
  • Drag to draw a shape around the desired group of modems/elements; an example is shown below.
  • Use Ctrl-Click to add to the original selection.
    NOTE: Once selected, modems show up in purple. To export these selections into a flat file, click Only Show Selected in the Cable Modems table and then select Export as CSV from the Gear menu.
