The Multi-select enhancement allows users on touchscreen devices or PCs to perform multi-selection in tables and maps.

NOTE: Without enabling Multi-Select, PC users can already select multiple objects in a map or rows in a table using Ctrl-click or Shift-Click. By enabling Multi-Select, PC users can select multiple items without using key commands.

To work with multi-select:

  • Click Multi-Select, which is a blue button in the Breadcrumbs area. This enables Multi-Select.

For Map View, multi-select applies focus and a blue outline to the selected view.

Alarm central map view with multi-select enabled. A Blue outline surrounds the map area and Multi-select options appear in the banner: Tap or drag to select items, Select All, Clear, and an X icon for cancel.

In a table, multi-select allows you to select multiple table rows in any order.

You can:

  • Tap to select individual elements.
  • Click Clear to remove the most recent selection(s).
  • Click the Select All option to select everything in the focus area.
NOTE: Clear and Select All options modify the focused view only.
  • Change the focus view to a different table by selecting a row in that table. That table then becomes the focus view with a blue outline. You can also select a previously unselected view to make it the focus view. For example, if Map View is selected and you click the OFDM/A tab, that entire table is then selected with a blue outline.
