The ServAssure NXT Trap Receiver (Trap Receiver) receives trap messages from remote devices that are configured to send traps. The Trap Receiver collects these messages, filters messages according to configured parameters, then sends the collection of related traps to the ServAssure NXT Cache tier via HTTP post.
The Trap Receiver should be installed as a standalone server and requires Ansible 2.9.6.0 to be installed and configured on the ServAssure NXT installation management server. Refer to Trap Receiver server installation for installation instructions.
