Modify the ethernet data capture/data filter configuration

Capture must be disabled (OFF selected) for desired interface to modify the capture or filter parameters for an Ethernet interface.
Locate the ethernet interface for which you want to modify data capture (for example, eth1).
Verify that capture is disabled (OFF is selected) for this Ethernet interface.
Click Modify on the row for the interface. A pop-up window is displayed.
The name of the selected Ethernet Interface displays in a read-only field.
Select a Capture Duration time from the dropdown menu to specify how long data capture (raw or filtered) is to last. Options range from 1 minute to 60 hours.
Select a retention interval from the dropdown menu to specify how long PCAP files (raw or filtered) are to be retained. Options range from 1 hour to 48 hours.
Click Save to save the modifications and close the pop-up window.
