The Downstream Path properties overview screen contains the name that uniquely identifies a downstream path. When the downstream path is added to the system, the SDM assigns a default name. A user can modify its name. The Downstream panel also includes the overall alarm status of the downstream path, as well as the Downstream Path ID configured on the NC 1500.
The Managed checkbox in the Downstream panel denotes whether or not the SDM will process events and alarms for this Downstream Path. The System panel shows system components and devices related to the Downstream Path.
The Upstream Path panel displays the list of Upstream Paths configured on the NC that are associated with this Downstream Path.
The Statistics tab as shown below displays detailed statistics about the downstream path utilization and OM utilization. The statistics for a downstream path are based on information maintained by the NC and each downstream device.
The Fault screen for the Downstream Path is identical to the Upstream Path properties screen.
The Performance screen for the Downstream Path is identical to the Upstream Path properties screen.
