Search for alarms

You can search for alarms in the SDM based on parameters you define:

  1. Double-click Fault Management in the View List and then click Alarms. The Alarms window is displayed.
  2. Select Edit > Search from the menu bar. The Search window is displayed:
  3. Select one:
    • Match any of the following
    • Match all of the following
  4. Choose the search criteria:
    • At left, select from:
      • Owner
      • Severity
      • Alarm
      • TimeStamp
      • Location
      • Name
      • IPAddress
      • Type
    • In the center, select from:
      • starts with
      • doesn't start with
      • ends withn
      • doesn't end with
      • contains
      • equals
      • not equals
    • At right, type <a text string>
  5. If desired, click More to add additional criteria.
  6. Click Search. An Alarms view containing events that match the criteria is displayed.
  7. To display all alarms, click Show All in the Alarms view.
