PID mapping changes a transport stream's input PID to a different PID on the output. This is used for specialized services like Switched Digital Video (SDV) and enhanced/interactive video such as Enhanced TV Binary Interchange Format (EBIF). VTM lets you leverage channel map information from the DAC 6000 to make the process easier. You create PID mappings during the service group creation process through the application of a service catalog entry.
