UDP mappings are used to map a UDP port on the incoming transport stream to a specific output QAM port and output Program Number. Thus UDP mapping is generally used for linear broadcast and barker channels. VTM lets you leverage channel map information from the DAC 6000 to make the process easier. You specify UDP mappings during Service Group creation through the application of a service catalog entry.
