Outage alarms in the alarms table

In Alarms view, by default, the Alarms table lists all active alarms on the fiber node, in the order of severity, with the highest severity alarms listed first. Because Outage alarms are considered higher priority, they are listed before Proactive alarms. If you have both modules, you can view Outage alarms, Proactive alarms, or both.

To view only Outage alarms
  • Select Outage above the Alarms table.

    In the Alarms table, look at the severity and the number of cable modems affected (Size) to see the extent of the Outage. Then look at the inspection points on the map.
