The following tables provide details on the fields which pertain to the Downstream OOB service group type.

Table 1. Service group details
FieldDescription
NameA name assigned to the service group for unique identification.
TypeType of service group. Value is always Downstream OOB.
Created EntitiesEntities created through this service group. Values are Channels & TS (Transport Stream), Channels Only, or TS Only.
AdZoneOperator assigned AdZone for this service group. This value is meant to give a logical name to the ad distribution area where this service group is used.
LocationOperator assigned location name for this service group. This is meant to provide a logical name to the geographical area where this service is used.
Multicast IPIP address range for the service group multicast.
UDP PortUDP Port used for distribution of this service group.
Single Source Multicast (SSM)This box should be checked only if a Single Source Mutlicast is service is being used.
VUEVUE used to manage the service for this service group.
VUE ServerThe servers available for the selected VUE.
TS TemplateTransport Template assigned to this service group. The template is operator created and is done so through the VTM. This only applies to service groups which created transport stream entities.
Input InterfaceInterface used by the VUE from the source.
Output InterfaceInterface used by the VUE to send to the destination.
Channel TemplateChannel template assigned to the service group. You can select a unique channel template per channel when creating or editing a service group. The Operator creates the channel templates in VTM. The channel template type corresponds to the service group type.
Mute Service GroupCheck box to mute the output of all the transport streams within the service group.

DACThe name assigned to the DAC 6000 on which this channel was configured.
Channel MapChannel map name on the DAC 6000 to which the service group is assigned.
Device NameUnique name assigned to the device on which this channel was configured.
FrequencyFrequency assigned to this channel.
Modulation TypeThe modulation type assigned to this channel in the DAC 6000:
  • QPSK
  • QAM64
  • QAM256
  • Unknown
ServicesThe number of services included in the channel.

Frequency (KHz)Frequency assigned to the transport stream.
TS TemplateAs described above.
VUEVUE assigned to manage this transport stream.
VUE ServerThe servers available for the selected VUE.
Input InterfaceAs described above.
Output InterfaceAs described above.
Service Catalog EntryService Catalog Entry in the VTM assigned to this transport stream. The service catalog entry type will specify the type of mapping which takes place in the VUE.
MuteIndicates if the transport stream is muted or unmuted.
PID RemappingIndicates if PID remapping is enabled.

FieldDescription
NameName assigned to the RxD.
MACMAC address of the RxD.
Serial NumberSerial number of the RxD (if available).
Primary CorePrimary core used by the RxD.
Aux CoreAuxiliary core used by the RxD.
LocationLocation name assigned to the RxD.

Transport StreamName assigned to the transport stream.
ProvisioningProvisioning status of the transport stream. The supported values are “OK” and “Error.”
OperationalStatus of the transport stream returned by VTM.
InputMapping ID for the input generated by VTM.
ProvisioningProvisioning status of the transport stream's input. The supported values are “OK” and “Error.”
OperationalStatus of the input returned by VTM.

ProvisioningProvisioning status of the RxD. The supported values are “OK” and “Error.”
OperationalStatus of the RxD returned by VTM.

OperationalStatus of the channel returned by VTM.
