As an alternate method, you can manually configure broadcast mappings after you create an MPTS DEPI transport stream.
NOTE: You
  1. Log in to the EM, https://<VPS #2_IP_address>:5557
  2. Click Mappings > Auto Mappings.
  3. Choose the VUE server or choose All Server from the drop down.
  4. Click the Add icon button to configure the auto map.
  5. Update values as necessary:
    ParameterDescription
Transport StreamSelect the MPTS transport stream from the drop-down list to assign this mapping as the configured output Video TS.
    Mapping Name

    (Optional)

Enter a unique descriptive name. The name is a case-sensitive string of up to 32 characters. Valid characters are: a-z, A-Z, 0-9, @, +, #, _ (underscore), and - (hyphen).
Input InterfaceThe interface IP to receive the input video/data stream. If this server is part of a redundancy cluster, this must be a VIP.
Input MulticastMulticast address to receive the video data on VUE server. Leave blank for unicast reception.
    Input UDP

    (Range: 1024-65535)

Input UDP port to receive the video data on VUE server.
Input SourceMulticast input Source IP address (for IGMP v3 multicast reception). Leave blank for unicast reception.
Configure Secondary Server Input (Initial Standby server)This option allows you to configure a secondary input stream to receive a mapping. Selecting this options allows you to enter a secondary input multicast IP, secondary input source IP, and secondary input UDP port. If this mapping is configured on a server that is part of Redundancy Cluster these secondary parameters will be used on the initial standby server only. The input multicast, input UDP port, and input source will always be used on the initial active server.
Secondary Input MulticastOptional parameter when using HA 1:1 server redundancy. Multicast address to receive the video data on the initial standby VUE server. Leave blank for unicast reception.
Secondary Input UDPOptional parameter when using HA 1:1 server redundancy. Input UDP port to receive the video data on the initial standby VUE server.
Secondary Input SourceOptional parameter when using HA 1:1 server redundancy. Multicast input Source IP address (for IGMP v3 multicast reception) on initial standby VUE server. Leave blank for unicast reception.
Enable this mappingEnable or disable operation of the input stream. By default, the mapping is Enabled. To disable the mapping unselect the checkbox.
  6. Click Submit to save the values.
To view the existing values and create an export file, use the Export button. You can modify an exported file and save to new values based on your system requirements.
NOTE: You can only enable TS redundancy for a desired input TS stream but cannot configure TSR.
  7. (Optional) Enable TS redundancy.
You must enable, suspend, and then enter the secondary input stream redundancy. For more information, see Enable TS redundancy and Enable TS redundancy suspension.
