After identifying a cable modem in a modem session, you can view more information about the modem in other ServAssure NXT applications. To see this information:

  1. Click the MAC address Open In.
    The MAC address is a standard deep link, like in Global Search.
  2. Select one of the options:
    • Analyze Modem View to view detailed information about the modem. See Analyze Modem View for more information.
      NOTE: Analyze Modem View is an optional application that is part of the Analyze license. This link is only present if licensed, and your user profile is included in a group that contains the Analyze Modem View permission.
    • High Rate Polling to initiate a high rate polling sessions for this modem. See High Rate Polling for more information.
      NOTE: High Rate Polling is an optional application that is part of the Analyze license. This link is only present if licensed, and your user profile is included in a group that contains the Analyze Network View or Analyze Modem View permission.
    • Alarm Central to view alarm and fiber node related information about the modem. See Alarm Central for more information.
    • Analyze Network View to access information from the MAC domain this modem belongs to. See Analyze Network View for more information.
      NOTE: Analyze Network View is an optional application that is part of the Analyze license. This link is only present if licensed, and your user profile is included in a group that contains the Analyze Network View permission.
In addition to the links from a modem, you can also link from a channel in the Channel tab of the Historical view.
"Open In..." drop-down for a channel. Choices are Alarm Central, Analyze Network View, or US Spectrum Analyzer. No choice is currently selected.

Select one of the options:

  • Alarm Central (see details above)
  • Analyze Network View (see details above)
  • Upstream Spectrum Analyzer to view channel monitoring and troubleshooting data. If there is an active Upstream Spectrum Session on the channel, you are prompted to view the session. See Upstream spectrum analyzer or Upstream Spectrum Sessions for more information.
    NOTE: Upstream Spectrum Analyzer is an optional, separately licensed application. This link is only present if Upstream Spectrum Analyzer is installed, and your user profile is included in a group that contains the US Spectrum Analyzer permission.
