Graph a modem session

Build graphs of modem session KPIs with the external graphs application.

To graph modem session KPIs
  1. Click the name of the modem session to open the external graph session in a new browser tab.
  2. In the external graph tab, you can:
    1. Drag or double-click KPIs from the Parameters tab to build graphs.
    2. Customize your graphs with the options on the Display tab.
    3. Select channels displayed on the Channels tab.
  3. Customize the time frame graphed.
    1. Click to expand the time panel.
    2. Enter a custom time range. By default, the entire modem session duration is selected.
    3. For an active modem session, you can select a pre-determined time from Quick Links.
After you have built your graphs, you can further analyze the results.
  • Select to zoom in or out on a section of a graph to change the level of detail shown.
  • Select to strum, or drag your cursor across, one or more lines on a graph to select the lines. Modems and CMTSs associated with the selected lines are then shown in the Channels tab.
