A Narrowcast Service Group consists of a number of downstream QAM carriers. QAM carriers are video services set for SDV or VOD applications and can span one or more RF ports on a Downstream Line Card (DLC). A Narrowcast Service Group is usually smaller in scope than a Broadcast Service Group in either number of channels or number or RxDs served.
