The Network View Hierarchy presents an overall view of Folder, Hub, and CMTS Hierarchy. It also displays MAC domains and MD-CM-SGs, based on current CMTS topology.

- Inactive/deprecated service groups that may still report some offline modems are not shown in the network topology hierarchy tree.
- ServAssure NXT creates the Service Group MD-CM-SG-0 as a placeholder for online modems when MD-CM-SG does not appear in docsIf3MdNodeStatusTable.
Select an element in the tree to change the context that all parts of the user interface present data for.


The table below describes the hierarchy items and includes the contexts available in Network View.

RF Data Ingest
ServAssure NXT maintains a relationship of a MAC domain and service group each hour with RF data ingest. After each hourly RF ingest, ServAssure NXT updates/corrects the MAC domain service group relationship for modems and computes the operational modem count under MD/MDCMSG either during that hour or in the next outage scan. These modem counts are stored in the ServAssure NXT database under the KPI level in Network View. These counts under the MAC domain are updated each hour, which means the modem might have shifted MAC domain/service group during that time. It will correct itself during the hourly scan.
