Modem summary is available for MAC domain and MD-CM-SG contexts. Modem summary provides a summarization of all channels for each modem. Only online modems are displayed during the selected time period.

The table contains modem details and KPIs for RF data. Select a category from the Time panel and then refine the available KPIs through the Gear menu.

Available modem details include:
  • Customer Id
  • Modem Address Information
    • Street Number
    • Address
    • Postal Code

    For details regarding how addresses are parsed and sorted, refer to Address sorting.

  • Operating DOCSIS Version

    The DOCSIS version of a modem is determined by the operating channels of the modem, not the modem base_capability or sysDesc. Refer to Latest modem counts for details.

  • Modem Operational State (Based on the last available outage scan, up to a 15-minute delay.)
  • Modem reset count (Based on last available outage scan, up to a 15-minute delay.)
  • MTA columns

    For MTA-enabled devices, MTA columns provide details about the MAC Address, provisioning, and state. Refer to MTA columns for details.

Modem summary categories include:
  • Summary (all categories)
  • Upstream/Downstream FEC
  • Upstream/Downstream Noise
  • Upstream/Downstream Power
For each KPI in a specified category, the threshold minimum, maximum, and average values (with severity) are available.
