The Configuration screen provides control of
system-wide settings for the VTM. The following configurations are available:

- Narrowcast Streaming Zones
System configuration settings
Each setting has a default. Each can be changed independently of one another. The following settings are available in System Configuration:

- VUE Sync Interval (mins)
- The time, in minutes, VTM will wait before trying to sync an associated VUE. Default value is 10 minutes.
- DAC Sync Interval (mins)
- The time, in minutes, the VTM will wait before trying to sync an associated DAC.
- RxD Manager Sync Interval (mins)
- The time, in minutes, VTM will wait before trying to sync a device inventory. Default value is 10 minutes.
- RxD Manager Sync
- Leave unchecked. This attribute is not applicable to VTM release 2.0 and above.
- HFC DM Sync Manager Sync
- Specifies whether VTM
should sync with RxD devices in its device
inventory.
- Checked: RxD devices will be synced with the VTM device inventory.
- Unchecked: RxD devices will not be synced with the VTM device inventory.
- DAC Sync Interval (mins)
- The time, in minutes, the VTM will wait before trying to sync an associated DAC.
- Delete RPD/RMD on Sync
Specifies whether VTM should delete RxD devices in its device inventory if they are not present in the inventory list retrieved from the device inventory sync process.
- Checked: Devices will be deleted from the VTM device inventory.
- Unchecked: Devices will not be deleted from the VTM device inventory.
- Log Level
This is the level of system messages which are added to the log. The higher the level, the more information is added. Increase this setting to help identify the source of issues. Lower it to keep the log more manageable.
NOTE: The log level setting is not persisted through a restart of the VTM application. The VTM log level setting is reset to the default setting of INFO.- Debug: Highest level; all messages are logged.
- Info: Second highest level; shows completed or uncompleted processes.
- Warning: Second lowest level; only warnings and errors are logged.
- Error: Lowest level; only errors are logged.
