If integrating ServAssure Collection Platform with the ServAssure NXT Upstream Spectrum Analyzer, extra site-vars must be configured to support the various modes of US Spectrum Analysis. Parameters can be configured through Ansible to enable the necessary access from the ServAssure Collection Platform to the CMTS.
Standard mode
Depending on the vendor and firmware of the CMTS, FTP (E6000) or TFTP (other vendors) may be required to perform US Spectrum Analysis in Standard Mode. Additional details regarding CMTS compatibility can be found in ServAssure® NXT User Guide. To configure TFTP, refer to Configure ServAssure TFTP Receiver. To configure FTP, refer to Configure FTP.
Compatibility mode
Compatibility mode is supported for the E6000 CMTS only. CLI authentication and connection details must be provided for the CMTS to perform US Spectrum Analysis in Compatibility mode.
