If you select a MAC address/frequency pair in SC-QAM view or a modem+channel+IUC/profile trio in OFDM/A view, the other views show selections for items in which the MAC address/frequency pair or modem+channel+IUC/profile is contained:
- Map view: The Service Location that contains the modem is selected.
- Logical view: The Service Location that contains the modem is selected.
- Tree view: The modem that contains the MAC address is selected.
- Alarms view: The alarm that contains the modem MAC address is selected, if you selected a MAC address that is part of an alarm.
- Cable Modems view: The cable modem MAC address is selected.
- Amplifiers view: Nothing is selected.
- Historical view: Graphs contain data for the selected MAC address/frequency pair, and the Frequencies table shows the MAC addresses and frequencies that are historical and current.
- PreEQ view: Show information derived from the pre-equalization data available on each modem and channel combination on a fiber node.
NOTE: An OFDM/A issue selection behaves the same as an SC-QAM selection. Cable modems that have the channel associated with the issue are selected.
