Use the Administration page of the device Properties window to change administrative information for specific devices. To change or view administrative information for a specific device:

  1. Expand the Group tree in the View List and continue to expand each sub-group tree until the target group is reached.
  2. Click the <target group icon> in the tree to display its map view in the Active Window.
  3. Double-click the <target device> or right-click the <target device> and select Properties from the drop-down list. The properties window for the device is displayed.
  4. Click the Administration tab.

    An example of an Administration page for an APEX3000 device is displayed below:

    When the data in a field in the device's Properties window is modified, the field is highlighted to indicate the status of the change. See Color Indicators in the Device Properties Window.
