In Map and Logical views:
- When nothing is selected, the topology elements appear dark gray.
- When an item is selected, all the elements that are not selected appear light gray.
- Alarms that are not selected appear with muted
colors.
For example, suppose the Alarms table contains a major Proactive alarm and the Proactive overlay is selected. If you select the major Proactive alarm in the Alarms table, then in Topology views, the selected alarm appears bright orange.

If no overlay is turned on when a Proactive issue is selected in the Alarms view, the issue appears bright blue in the Topology views.

NOTE: Items selected in the Map View overlay are not reflected in the Logical View overlay. For example, if something like Network Cables is turned on in Map View, it does not show in Logical View unless you manually deselect the Network Cables box in the Logical View overlay.
