Supplying CAST server information to the SDM allows the SDM to recognize and communicate with CAST servers. Go to the CAST server page to configure the necessary parameters.

  1. Select Configuration > Firmware Management > CAST Support. The CAST Support page is displayed.
  2. Click CAST Servers. The CAST Servers page is displayed.

    The CAST Servers page provides the Name, IP Address, Status, and time the CAST Server was Last Polled At. It also includes the User Name (or role, such as admin) of the person logged in.

    The CAST Servers page also provides buttons which include these operations:
    • Add a CAST Server
    • Delete a CAST Server
    • Sync All CAST Servers
    • Refresh the CAST Server display

    Below the CAST Servers display is another set of buttons, which provide the ability to view:

    • File Sets Installed
    • File Sets Available
    • File Set Updates
    • Install History
    • CAST Agent Info
