When the data in a field in the Properties window has been modified, the field is highlighted to indicate the status of the change:
Color | Status |

Green | Indicates the data has been modified in the SDM but not yet applied to the SDM. Click Apply to accept modifications. |
Yellow | Indicates the value that has been entered is invalid and will not be applied to the device. |
Red | Indicates a discrepancy exists between the settings for the device in the SDM and the actual settings of the device. |
Blue | Indicates the data has been modified and applied to the SDM but not to the device. This occurs when the device has not received or accepted the change. |
