Complete Narrowcast Channel Config

  1. If a Frequency template is available, you can apply it by selecting it in the Frequency Template pull-down.
  2. Click to add new channel details.

    Enter the following details:

    Field
    Description
    Frequency
    Frequency assigned to this channel.
    Modulation Type
    The modulation type assigned to this channel in the DAC 6000:
    • QPSK
    • QAM64
    • QAM256
    • Unknown
    Multicast IP
    IP address range for the service group to which the channel is assigned.
    TS ID
    Transport stream ID for the service group. This increments automatically but is user modifiable to an unused value.
    RF Port Index
    RF Port Index to which the channel is assigned.

    To remove a channel, click in the row of the channel.

  3. Click Next.

    If you selected the Channels & TS or TS Only Created Entities, the Transport Streams screen will appear. Continue to Complete Narrowcast Transport Streams.

    If you selected the Channels Only Created Entities, the RPDs screen will appear. Continue to Complete Narrowcast RxD configuration.
