Alarm Summary Report

The Alarm Summary Report can be filtered so that the contents of the report are limited by user-selected filtering criteria, including:

  • Name
  • Type
  • IP address
  • Group
  • Failure Object
  • Category
  • Event/Alarm (the alarm type)
  • Owner
  • Time between (the date and time range)
  • Severity

To filter the report and display the results:

  1. Click Fault > Fault Report on the SDM home screen. The Fault Report filter criteria page is displayed.
  2. Enter or select (from drop-down menus) the criteria for your report (optional).
  3. Click Display. The filtered version of the Alarm Summary Report is displayed.

    Report contents include:

    Column

    		Description

    Count

    The alarm failure count, which is also a hyperlink to event details.

    Alarm Failure Object

    The failure object display name.

    Category

    The alarm category.

  4. To view the details of the alarms that contributed to the count, click the specific failure object Count hyperlink.
