  1. Select a Streaming Zone. If you don't select any streaming zone, the default streaming zone will be applied to this service group.
  2. Optional: Enter a Null PID B/W (bps) value to allot bandwith for the insertion of null packets in the transport stream for RMD devices.
  3. Optional: Click the Mute Service Group checkbox to suppress network traffic until you have your configuration ready.
  4. Enter the Default SG IP for this service.
  5. Enter a UDP Port for this service.
    Important: This UDP Port is for non-DEPI use only.
  6. Enter a Starting TS ID for the transport stream being created by this service group.
  7. Optional: Select a TS Template from the pull-down. The annex mode of the TS template must align with the annex mode of the selected channel template.

    Transport Stream templates must be pre-defined. Refer to Transport Stream template overview for more information.

  8. If you have selected a TS template created using the RPCsession creation method, enter a RPC Service Group.
  9. If you have selected a TS template created using the RTSPsession creation method, enter a RTSP Group Name.
  10. Optional: Select a VUE from the pull-down.

    The default Aux Core is selected by default.

  11. Optional: Select a VUE Server by clicking on the field and selecting from the displayed list.
  12. Optional: Select an Input Interface from the pull-down.
  13. Optional: Select a PID Interface from the pull-down.
  14. Optional: Select a VIP from the pull-down.
  15. Optional: Select an Output Interface from the pull-down.
  16. Optional: If you have selected a template created using the RTSPsession method in the TS Template field, select the LSM checkbox to configure Linear Source Management.
  17. If you check the LSM checkbox, enter the LSM Multicast IP and LSM UDP Port numbers.
  18. Click Next.
Proceed to Complete Narrowcast Transport Streams.
