Deleting an alarm removes it from the SDM database and from the Active Window. Delete an alarm if you wish to ignore it.

The deletion of an alarm is local to the SDM. You can delete alarms of any severity. If the condition still exists on the device after you have deleted the alarm, the alarm may be raised again when:

  • The SDM resynchronizes with the device
  • The SDM receives a Clear command from the device

To delete a single alarm, right-click the alarm and select Delete. The alarm is removed form the Active Window.

To delete a group of alarms:

  1. Drag your mouse over the targeted range of alarms or CTRL-click the alarms you wish to delete.
  2. Right-click and then select Delete. The alarms are removed from the Active Window.
