The SDM enables you to compare the actual and configured parameters of a device in the device's Properties window. The actual parameters of a device are those parameters stored on the device itself; the configured parameters for a device are those configured by the user and recorded in the SDM.
To view the actual and configured values for a parameter, right-click the field in the device's Properties window. The actual (labeled Device) and configured (labeled Configured) values are displayed. A typical Configuration and Status page (varies with device type) is as follows:

When there is a discrepancy between the actual and configured parameters for a device, the parameter is highlighted red. To change the parameter, right-click it and select the value you wish to apply to the device, and then click Apply.
Discrepancies in the Configuration & Status page can be modified directly in the Configuration & Status page so that the actual and configured values agree.
