- Log in to the EM, https://<VPS #2_IP_address>:5557.
- Click Mappings > PassThru Mappings.
- Choose the VUE server or choose All Server from the drop down list.
- Click the
button to configure the downstream input transport stream
parameters. - Update values as
necessary:
Parameter Description Transport Stream Select the MPTS transport stream from the dropdown list to assign this mapping as the configured output Video TS.
Input Interface The interface IP to receive the input video/data stream. If this server is part of a redundancy cluster, this must be a VIP. NOTE:If you have selected a specific VUE server from the drop-down list, then only the input interface IP of that server will be available.
Input Multicast The interface IP to receive the input video/data stream. If this server is part of a redundancy cluster, this must be a VIP. Input UDP (Range: 1024-65535)
Input UDP port to receive the video data on VUE server.
Input Source Multicast input Source IP address (for IGMP v3 multicast reception). Configure Secondary Server Input (Initial Standby server) This option allows you to configure a secondary input stream to receive a mapping. Selecting this options allows you to enter a secondary input multicast IP, secondary input source IP, and secondary input UDP port. If this mapping is configured on a server that is part of Redundancy Cluster these secondary parameters will be used on the initial standby server only. The input multicast, input UDP port, and input source will always be used on the initial active server.
NOTE: This option is used only for HA 1:1 server redundancy.Secondary Input Multicast Optional parameter when using HA 1:1 server redundancy. Multicast address to receive the video data on the initial standby VUE server. Leave blank for unicast reception. Secondary Input UDP Optional parameter when using HA 1:1 server redundancy. Input UDP port to receive the video data on the initial standby VUE server. Secondary Input Source Optional parameter when using HA 1:1 server redundancy. Multicast input Source IP address (for IGMP v3 multicast reception) on initial standby VUE server. Leave blank for unicast reception. Enable this mapping Enable or disable operation of the input stream. By default, the mapping is enabled. - Click Submit to save
the values for the mappings or click Cancel to disregard
the change. To view the existing values and create an export file, use the Export button. You can modify an exported file and save to new values based on your system requirements.NOTE: You can only enable TS redundancy for a desired input TS stream but cannot configure TSR.
- (Optional) Enable TS
redundancy. You must enable, suspend, and then enter the secondary input stream redundancy. For more information, see Enable TS redundancy and Enable TS redundancy suspension.
- To view the details of a
PassThru mapping, click on the mapping to expand the collapsible row.
Parameter Description Assigned To Shows the server name for which the mapping is assigned. Input TS Status Shows the input processing state. This shows the state of the input stream (received or not received along with other input states). This indicates if the input has been successfully received or if there is an error with input stream reception.
Mapping State Shows the MPEG processing state. Created Shows the time that the mapping is created. Last Status Shows the time that the mapping status last changed. Other options available on this screen are:
