  1. Specify one or more filter criteria (Device Name, Model, Filter Set Name, Type, Firmware) in the upper pane of the screen.
  2. Click Filter. The device list is updated to contain only the devices that meet the specified criteria. To enable a device for asynchronous device backup:
  3. In the device list, select the checkbox for the device.
  4. In the bottom pane, select the Enabled checkbox.
    NOTE: A disabled device is not subject to asynchronous device backup creation.

    When a device is selected in the Device List, the filter sets assigned to the device are displayed in the Filter Set pane at the bottom of the page.

    To add a filter set to a device:

  5. In the device list, select the checkbox for the device.
  6. In the Filter Set pane, from the drop-down menu, select the filter set to be added.
  7. Click Add.

    To delete a filter set from a device:

  8. In the device list, select the checkbox for the device.
  9. In the Filter Set pane, in the list of filter sets assigned to the device, locate the entry for the filter set to be deleted.
  10. In the Action column, click Delete; the filter set is deleted.

    When a filter set is enabled, it triggers a Device Backup, triggered by alarms and/or events in the SDM. When a filter set is disabled, it does not trigger a Device Backup.

    To enable / disable a filter set for a device:

  11. In the device list, select the checkbox for the device.
  12. In the Filter Set pane, locate the entry for the filter set to be enabled or disabled.
  13. In the Enabled column, click On to enable the filter set,or click Off to disable the filter set.
