Capture controls for impulse noise include:
- Center Frequency — Frequency around which a capture occurs.
- Passband Width — Space around the center frequency.
- Start Trigger — Value in microvolts for the start point of a capture.
- End Trigger — Value
in microvolts for the end point of a capture.NOTE: During a capture, if an instantaneous measurement exceeds a provided threshold (start trigger), an event measurement will be captured. If the instantaneous measurement falls below a separate threshold (end trigger), the event will end. While a capture is occurring, these values cannot be changed. All values must also be integers.
- X-Axis — Specifies the frequency or time range for the X-Axis.
- Y-Axis — Specifies the amplitude in microvolts or power density (dBmV) for the Y-Axis.
- Reset — Tries to automatically determine the most appropriate range of X or Y data based upon what is being received by the CMTS.
General controls include:
- Open in... — Opens in Alarm Central or Analyze Network View.
- Zoom Control — Zoom in on a section of the graph by dragging the mouse. Click Zoom Out to restore the graph to its original size.
- Chevron — Shows or hides the capture panel controls.
