To make any modifications to an Redundancy Cluster (RC), place the RC in Suspend state. Once the modifications are complete, the RC can be placed Resume state for RC to move back into operation. Suspension of a redundancy cluster prevents automatic failover regardless of the redundancy fault condition. While suspended, you can perform force failover on the standby server. While suspended, heartbeat signals, alarming, and monitoring of redundancy servers continue to operate. Suspension of a cluster is also recommended when performing a software upgrade.
  1. Select Elements > VUE in the navigation bar.
  2. Select a VUE system from the list which is a member of the RC.
  3. Select the RC-Server tab.
The RC table is displayed. There are two types which may be displayed:
    Hot-Hot
1:1 VUE Redundancy Clusters always contain 1 Active Server and 1 Standby Server.
    Hot-Cold
N:1 VUE Redundancy Clusters contain up to 10 Active Servers and 1 Standby Server.
