VTM lets you synchronize the configuration of VUE servers between a VTM system and a VUE system. Any and all configuration changes performed on VTM are automatically pushed to the VUE server. You are rarely required to perform a follow-up action after VUE server Config Sync operations.

However, you may have to perform updates or changes after the VUE server Config Sync operation on the VUE server through the VUE Element Manager. In those cases, VTM and VUE would be out of sync, and you must perform a manual VUE server config operation from VTM. Any reported discrepancies must be resolved to realign the configuration between the VTM system and the VUE system.

You can either perform a Config Sync operation on all the VUE servers in a VUE system or on a selected individual VUE server.

  • To perform Config Sync operation on all the VUE servers, click Ellipsis icon and then click Config Sync.
  • To perform config sync operation on a selected individual VUE server, click on the desired VUE server row to select the server, and then click the Ellipsis icon. This provides options for the selected VUE server. Click Config Sync to run the config sync operation.

If there are discrepancies found as a result of the VUE server Config Sync operation, then it displays a list of the discrepant VUE Servers. Click View to have detailed view of the discrepancy. This displays the View Config Sync Discrepancies window.
