The Fiber Node view contains:
- Alarms View: Lists all active alarms on the fiber node.
- Cable Modems View: Lists all modems on the fiber node by MAC Address and provides customer data.
- Tree View: Shows the topology in a hierarchical table structure.
- Map View: Shows where the topology elements are located on a map relative to the houses and other geographical landmarks.
- Logical View: Shows the topology as a schematic, running from the fiber node.
- SC-QAM View: Shows statistics for each modem and channel/frequency.
- OFDM/A View: Shows statistics for each modem+channel/frequency+profile/IUC.
- Amplifiers View: Shows metrics for the amplifiers in a hierarchical structure, including the hub at the top, the fiber node, and the amplifiers.
- Historical View: Create historical graphs to see trends over time for RF issues related to selected items, such as a fiber node, alarm, or topology element. This view is used for Proactive alarms only.
- Virtual Spectrum Analyzer: Optional, separately licensed feature.
- PreEQ: Shows information derived from the pre-equalization data available on each modem and channel combination on a fiber node. This data is designed to show where pairs of defects exist in an HFC network that cause reflections and echoes in the upstream direction.
- Timeline: The Timeline, which is not a view, is located at the bottom of the screen and applies to all views. It lets you see data at different points in time. Timeline markers are enhanced to show the highest outage or proactive alarm at scan time. Each marker will indicate the presence of either an outage or proactive alarm and the severity of the alarm.
