Manually configure log levels

As an alternate method you can manually configure the log levels.
  1. Login to Element Manager, https://<VPS #2_IP_address:5557.
  2. Click System > Configure Log Levels.
  3. Select the Category, Server, Log Source, and Log Level based on your requirement.

    The servers are listed based on the type of catergory you select. Choose the Log Source and Log Level based on your requirements.

    The Server drop-down is enabled only VUE Pipe category.

  4. Click Submit. To discard the changes, click Cancel.
    Logs are saved in the container's log path. For example, if you are configuring pipe 1 then the vue_pipe-xx.xx-001.vue.arris.com.yml file will have its logs available in the /var/opt/vue-server/pipe/vue_pipe-xx.xx-001 folder.
    NOTE: The log level ERROR can indicate a serious software error such as memory allocation, failed process, or queue full.
