This section provides a summary of different Upstream Spectrum Capture modes, capture controls available on the UI, and capture concurrency and frequency limits for all the devices supporting Upstream Spectrum capture.

Upstream Spectrum capture comparison compares modes and capture controls on the ServAssure NXT UI per CMTS or DAA device.
The columns in this table are:
  • Device: Device selected in the Upstream Spectrum Analyzer. Supported devices include:
    • CommScope E6000® Converged Edge Router (E6000 CER CMTS)
    • Casa CMTS
    • Cisco CMTS
    • CommScope RD1 Series Remote PHY Device (RD1 Series RPD)
    • CommScope RD3 Series RD2322 RPD (RD2322 RPD)
    • CommScope RD3 Series RD2322 RMD (RD2322 RMD)
    • CommScope RD4 Series RD1424-M4 RPD (RD1424-M4 RPD)
    • Harmonic Pebble Remote DAA Device (Harmonic Pebble RPD)
  • Capture mode: Supported mode for a Upstream Spectrum capture.
NOTE: Static Pseudowire capture mode requires ServAssure Collection Platform 2.11 or higher.
  • Capture controls: Supported controls to perform the Upstream Spectrum capture. This column lists the controls that are available in the UI for a given device and mode selection.
  • Concurrency: Supported number of Upstream Spectrum capture tests that can be performed on a device.
  • Channel type: Supported channels per device and capture mode. They can be SCQAM or OFDMA.
  • Notes: This column lists any important notes with respect to the other columns.
