There are two ServAssure NXT Installation options using Ansible:
Fast Track and
Standard. The
difference between the two installations is how the installation is performed:
- The Standard install is performed in multiple steps for each application.
- The Fast Track is performed in one step, and assumes that all your Ansible files are pre-configured for all applications. If there are no problems, this method can be completed quickly, but if problems are encountered, identifying the root cause may be more complex.
NOTE: The commands for running installation scripts with Ansible are
intended to document the Ansible playbook to be run for each installation step. They may
vary slightly in terms of the arguments and flags passed to the ansible-playbook program
depending on how Ansible is configured in the target environment.
NOTE: When installing or upgrading a multi-tenant system, the Ansible
playbooks must first be run against the common components, after which the appropriate
playbooks can be run against the tenant-specific components.
