Use this procedure to create a backup of a device.
On the SDM user interface, select Configuration > Backup Management. The Device Backup Management page is displayed.
Click Create Backup. The contents of the Device Backup Management page are updated to display:
the devices available on the SDM, and
the options needed to create a new device backup.
In the upper portion of the page, filter entry boxes provide the ability to specify one or more filter criteria. These include Device Name, Device Model, Device Type, and Firmware Version. Enter one or more filter criteria.
Click Filter.
In the lower portion of the page, select the checkbox for each device to be included in the backup.
Enter a description (or other desired text) in the Comments field for each selected device.
Click Create Backup. The backup is initiated for the selected devices, and the Device Backup Management page updates to display the status of each of the Device Backup operations.
