Network mapping from Discovery Properties Window

To specify devices to be discovered by IP address and device type:
  1. Select Configuration > Discover Devices.
  2. Select the Network Mapping tab. The Discovery Management - Network Mapping window displays.
  3. Click Add. The Edit Network Parameters window displays.
  4. Click Browse. The Select a Group window displays.
  5. Highlight a <target group> and click OK. The selected group appears in the Edit Network Parameters window group field.
  6. In the Edit Network Parameters window, type the <starting IP address> and the <ending IP address> to be usedas the search parameters for the discovery process.
  7. Select a <device type> and click OK.
  8. A pop-up is displayed indicating the new network parameters were added. Click OK.
  9. The device group, starting and ending IP addresses, and the device type are entered as a line item in the Network Mapping tab of the Discovery Properties window.
  10. Proceed to Start discovery from Discovery Management Window
